Spicy Roasted Red Pepper Salsa


  • 4 medium tomatoes
  • ¼- ½ red onion (depending on how much you like raw onion)
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 red bell pepper (oven roasted until soft and slightly charred)
  • 1 jalapeno pepper (remove seeds if you prefer a milder salsa)
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp ground cumin


Serves 4-6
Combine the following ingredients in a food processor and blend until the desired consistency, we prefer a slightly chunkier salsa with our chips!

Add salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Dried chili flakes can be substituted for the jalapeno.
Fresh parsley or coriander make a nice addition too!
Serve with chips, toasted pita slices or vegetable sticks. Any leftovers make a nice addition to a red sauce.
