The Big Picture

Amazing as it is to see the Valley of Elah where David defeated Goliath, to walk the streets of Jerusalem or sit on the very same shores of the Galilee that Yeshua did, there is more to visiting Israel than touring the sites. For one thing, it’s about creating a personal connection with the people and the Land. It’s about learning why Israel is as relevant and significant now as it was in the Bible, and how to support Israel in the world today. It’s about grasping a little more of the big picture, seeing God’s plans and purposes for Israel and how that relates to you, today.

We encourage you before your visit to take a look at our Resources page for a link to some information on Israel in Biblical Prophecy. It’s a great read before arriving here and one that we trust will help deepen your understanding of Israel in the Scriptures. While your time in Israel is packed with visiting sites and exploring the length and breadth of this thriving, modern country, remember to take time to reflect and think about the Scriptures and the Biblical significance of the places you see. Spend time in quiet personal contemplation and let God bring to life the words of the Scriptures as you visit here. So many people tell us that the Bible is never the same again once they return home- they read it with a new perspective and a fresh understanding of well-known passages!

Our passion is to share the living, breathing Israel with you, the one that brings to life the Israel of the Bible, and unite them both in God’s timeline and kingdom purposes. Understanding the wide variety of cultures and the huge diversity in modern Israel gives knowledge and insight to the situations and daily happenings both here, and on the international stage. Take a look at the “Regathering of the Exiles” video on our new media page for a glimpse at what God is doing; He is the One who gathers His people home (Ezekiel 36:24, Zephaniah 3:20, Jeremiah 29:14, Ezekiel 22:21, Zephaniah 3:20, Isaiah 43:5-6). You too, can be a part of what God is doing in Israel and in the world simply by understanding what is happening here today and standing with us in prayer as the Lord leads and directs you.

Our desire is to give you more of the big picture, to help create journeys that not only traverse the Land, but Kingdom journeys, ones that enrich your own personal walk. May you be personally blessed and encouraged as you journey here with us. God bless you.
