March 2nd: Update from Sar-El Tours

Dear Friends and Valued Partners,
Many of you have been closely following the news in recent days from Israel and the United States. As you know, after negotiations failed—talks that unfortunately led nowhere while the Islamic regime of Iran sought only to delay—Israel and the United States chose to stand together and take decisive action against Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile infrastructure. This action was taken not only for Israel’s security, but for the stability of the region and for the hope of a freer future for the Iranian people.
The conflict has since escalated, and Israel, along with some Gulf countries, has experienced attacks from Iran. Thank God, the situation remains under control. Daily life in Israel is disrupted, yet resilient. As always, the people of Israel continue forward with faith and determination.
At the onset of the attacks, we had nearly 50 buses touring the country. By God’s grace and through careful coordination, we were able to move the vast majority of our groups safely out of Israel via neighboring countries on their way home. A small number chose to remain, standing with Israel in prayer and solidarity. We are grateful that all of our guests are safe.
We ask you, our dear friends, to stand with us in prayer.

Pray for the brave soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces and the United States Armed Forces—those serving on the ground, at sea, and in the air. Lift up the IDF and U.S. Army, Navy, and Air Force pilots and personnel who stand on the front lines, defending not only Israel, but the values of freedom and dignity for the free world. May the God of Israel guard them, strengthen them, and bring them home safely.
As we read Parashat Zachor in this season before Purim, we are reminded that the
struggle against those who seek to destroy the people of Israel is not new. Yet the God of Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps. He remains faithful to His covenant, and His purposes stand through history. We believe this difficult hour may well open the door to a new and hopeful season for Israel and for the region.
For those scheduled to arrive in Israel in the coming weeks, we kindly recommend waiting a short while to see how developments unfold. From past experience, such situations can resolve relatively quickly—though we cannot predict timelines. Please know that we are holding your hotel rooms and arrangements. If you have questions, contact your tour operator or reach out to us directly at any time.
We remain confident that when this conflict ends, Israel will step into some of her strongest and most blessed years yet.
To our American friends: we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the American people and to President Trump for their boldness, courage, and steadfast support of Israel and of the Iranian people’s hope for freedom.
“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: may they prosper who love you.” (Psalm 122:6)
Thank you for standing with us.
With faith and gratitude,
Samuel Smadja
